ABOUT

Hey again, I'm Daniel. 👋

I’m the lead designer at City Picture Frame, where we work with designers, galleries and artists to come up with framing solutions for all sorts of projects. Through an understanding of our clients’ needs and who they are, I create compelling visual designs to help tell their stories to the world around them. This takes careful consideration of the details: the history of their art-piece, the space in which it will reside, the desired presentation aesthetics, and the structural requirements for it to work.

Behind the scenes I’m collaborating across different teams, making tough decisions on behalf of our clients who put their trust in me, and constantly pushing our process outside of our comfort zone to deliver the best design and best product we can.

I also push the design of our business—Can we speed up our quoting process? Can we provide clients the vital info before they ask for it? Can we flexibly shift project timelines without disruption? Always imagining what could be better, I believe in questioning what we do, how we do it, and testing out new solutions. I want to work with people who believe the same, and support each other as we push forward. As technology advances, we have more & more opportunities to optimize workflows, increase accessibility, and improve peoples’ lives.

Let me know if you have a project that we could tackle together! When I’m not working you can find me at the movies, drawing, and searching for undiscovered swimming holes.
